New Years weekend! What do you do?
NORMALLY we go to bed early! Jim isnt much of a New Year partier person. We don't drink so we don't get into that party atmosphere. BUT we do have a daughter who was born 2 minutes after midnight on New Years day! She was the first baby born in 1996. According to the military she was quite possibly the first baby born that year because she was born in Okinawa Japan.
We have always thought it would be fun to stay up late with her and have her "party" at midnight! So this year we are going to. She doesnt have a ton of friends that live here this year. (such is the military life sometimes) But were going to have fun! MONDAY she gets a shopping trip with MOM down in Palm springs and we are going to lunch at the cheesecake factory!
Its for her HONEST ! LOL

aww that sounds great! I don't think I could stay awake that late...ha ha ha!!!
BTW, how long have you homeschooled? What method/curriculum do you use? I like the unschooling ideas and am we are using those ideas with our 4 year old.

Awww how fun!! Lily was born New Years Eve :) Wish I could be there to celebrate with you...esp at the cheesecake factory.....sure it's for Jessica ;)
