Decisions, Blessings and More

So much has happened in the last few months..I have things to put on and write about but we have been busy. ONE thing that has happened is that Jim and I have decided to celebrate Christmas this year. Our reasons for not celebrating well..still are with us..however last year we spent Christmas with our family and all though we were sort of wet blankets..only because it has been hard to deal with the underlying reasons why we dont celebrate, We did however miss the family closeness and memories that come at Christmastime. Our kids are very excited. Although this will be a small celebration for us this year we have already been blessed. Today we went to Jim's Units Christmas Party and we had so much fun, they had Jumpy toys for the kids, food, crafts, a talent contest, pictures and the biggest blessing was, They gave each child $25 in a walmart gift certificate..then someone handed us $100 more in certificates! So we now have $300 for our children this year. What a blessing this is to us. Money seems to be tight this year..mabye because of our trip to Oregon in October..were still catching up! Anyways this has really blessed our family and they will be very excited on Christmas morning.

Anyways..I know for many of you who know us you will be in shock at our change and turn around. But people change, decisions change..such is the nature of life.

((HUGS)) to all of you! We love you friends and family very much. I will say..it may still be a little hard for us..but we are slowly getting there LOL

MERRY CHRISTMAS there I SAID IT!

I am surprised at the decision, but you're right, there is a lot of family closeness around this time of year. I love this time of year because everyone seems to find time to spend with others. Would you believe that the only time my one cousin ever visits is on Christmas eve? We live in the same town! So, it's time to make memories. :)
